Il Dipartimento di Biotecnologie Mediche e Medicina Traslazionale, nato dall’incontro tra interessi e competenze nell’ambito sia delle scienze molecolari e cellulari di base e applicate alla medicina, sia delle scienze cliniche, individua nella ricerca e nella didattica due aspetti che vogliono essere il più possibile integrati. Nel Dipartimento confluiscono professori e ricercatori afferenti a settori scientifico-disciplinari attinenti alla ricerca di base in ambito biofisico, molecolare e cellulare, alla ricerca applicata alla medicina, alla diagnostica, e alla medicina clinica e chirurgica con l’intento di promuovere e coordinare attività di ricerca traslazionali e multidisciplinari.
